A Unix-like, open standards operating system which has a reputation as being a very efficient, very stable and very fast. It was originally created by Linus Torvalds and has the contributions from developers around the globe. It was originally used by hobbyists and early adopters but is now being used in servers made by IBM, HP and others.

We use the Red Hat version of Linux as the operating system in the NuPoint (Centigram) voice mail platforms we sell and support.
