The Mitel Speech Auto Attendant is an applications that connects users automatically to another person or department by speaking the name of the desired party or department. The benefit of this is that it eliminates the need to look up phone numbers in a directory.
Our Speech Auto-Attendant application is co-resident on the same server as the NuPoint UM application and the source of names can be:
- NuPoint UM directory
- Microsoft Active Directory®
The Speech Auto-Attendant can also integrate presence servers to announce the presence state of the called party prior to routing a call:
- Microsoft Live Communications Server
- Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007
- IBM Lotus Sametime®
